COVID-19 Guidance

There are precautions you can take to prevent spreading it to others: isolation, masking, and avoiding contact with people who are at high risk of getting very sick. Isolation is used to separate people with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 from those without COVID-19. These recommendations do not change based on COVID-19 Community Levels.

Possible Symptoms

  • Fever or chills

  • Cough

  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

  • Fatigue

  • Muscle or body aches

  • Headache

  • New loss of taste or smell

  • Sore throat

  • Congestion or runny nose

What to do if a child is sick

Students who test positive for COVID-19, should stay home for at least 5 days and isolate themselves from others.

A doctor's note is NOT required, but parents/guardians are encouraged to contact the school and submit an absence note specifying COVID-19 as the reason for the absence. This step ensures that the student's absence is properly recorded and does not have a negative impact on their attendance record.
