Amy Loring accepting award

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. -- Jefferson County Schools congratulates Chief Human Resource Officer Amy Loring on receiving the Greg Bailey Award at the annual West Virginia Association of School Human Resources Officers (WVASHRO) Conference. 

Established by Bowles Rice Attorneys at Law in memory of Gregory Bailey, the award is presented to an active member of WVASHRO who has distinguished themselves in personnel administration at the local or state level. According to the association, recipients actively participate in local, state, national, or international personnel functions and programs, with their contributions significantly impacting public education. They are also skilled managers of change and are creative in their approach to personnel administration. 

As the award recipient, Loring will be WVASHRO’s nominee for the American Association of School Personnel Administrators’ Herb Salinger Personnel Administrator of the Year Award.
