I’m Michael Davo, and I am eleven years old. My mom told me to get something from the attic. I didn't know we had an attic, so I asked my dad for help getting up there. Let me tell you, the attic was a mess. It was full of junk. It was so dusty I could barely breathe. I wanted to get out of there. I hurried to the box my mom wanted, and it was heavy. So heavy I tripped over a loose floorboard and Bam! I hit the floor like a missile. “You okay?” asked Mom.

“I’m fine,” I lied. My chin hurts. I sat on something hard, it was a wonky watch.

The next day I showed the watch to my friends Peter and Justin. “What a wonky watch,” Peter said.

“Where did you get it from?” Justin asked.

“It came from my attic. It's really weird.” I exclaimed, “What does that button on the side do?” they both asked. I pressed the button. Vrrrrrrrrr! The watch began vibrating,

ZAP! I disappeared in a flash.

“Um, Michael?!” they yelled, “where did you go?!”

I reappeared a minute later covered in snow and ice. “What happened to you?” Peter asked.

“I-I” I shuttered, “I don’t know.” We all paused to look at the watch.

“Do it again,” demanded Peter. “Are you crazy?” I yelled.

“Guys! I think I found it out. It’s a time travel watch!” Peter exclaimed.

“Why would it be in my attic?”

“Hey, set the time to the future!” Justin added. That settled it.

We were going to the future.

We all got ready for the adventure by putting on warm clothes, “You guys ready?” I

asked.

“Let's get going! I'm sweating!,” complained Peter. I pressed the watch button and Vrrrrrrrrr! It began vibrating ZAP! Before I knew it, we came out on a hard sidewalk covered in snow.

“Good thing we put snow suits on,” “Guys! Look!” shouted Peter.

“What in the world?” Justin said. We were standing on the sidewalk of the future. It was awesome.

“I wonder if we're still alive at this time? Peter asked. “What year is it?” I asked.

He picked up a newspaper and gasped. “It's the year 2050.” We all gasped.

“Did you bring money?” Justin asked. “Yes, I did.” I said.

“Hey, can we get some galactic ice candy?” Peter asked. “Sure! Hey sir, can we have three galactic ice candies

please?” I said to the man running the stand, but it wasn’t a man. “Three galactic ice candies coming up!”

“ROBOT?” Peter yelled.

The robot handed us galactic ice candies. They looked like ice cream. “That would be 3 locoins”

“Locoins?” I said. I reached into my pocket. My money turned into gold coins! I gave three to the robot.

We ate on a hovering bench. “This is really cool, but I kind of want to go back to our normal year.” Justin said.

“Me too,” I added.

“Fine. I want to go back too.” Peter said sarcastically.

I put on the watch, I pressed the button on the side and Vrrrrrrrr! The watch vibrated Bzzzzz! Rrrrrrt! The watch stopped. I gulped a big gulp of the future air, “It died!”

“We’re stuck down here?!” I screamed. Justin sobbed.

“You okay?” I asked.

“I’m going to miss my birthday.” He said between tears.

Peter was smiling a nasty smile, “Really Peter?” I said “this is tragic. You're not being a good friend.”

“S-sorry,” Peter said. “It’s okay, Justin. We're gonna get back, right michael?” He stared at me.

“R-right.” I said “We just don't know how yet”.

We walked until we reached a lady with big hair dressed in all pink. She looked at us like we’re crazy. Then she whispered “old fashioned kids right next to me.” into the phone.

“Excuse me.” Justin said “Yes?”

“Where is the nearest hotel?” Justin asks.

“Follow me.” We followed the lady to a giant building. “It's the smallest one. First you need to put these on.” She handed us each cool clothes.

When we tried them on, they glowed. “Whoa” we said. “You kids look great! Now you need to meet my husband.

Micheal!!” she yelled.

“Coming!” A tall man came into the room with safety glasses

on.

“These are the kids I was talking about,” said the lady. “Hi!” he said.

“My name is Peter,” Peter said, “this is Justin.” “I’m michael.”

“Michael?” The man said “y-yeah.”

He said, “when I was your age I looked a lot like you.” Then it hit me. He was the future version of me.

That night we told him everything. Turns out he was a scientist. He helped us find the battery. We went back in time, and It was like we never left
